i’ve been reverse engineering one of my favourite childhood games to help me with speedruns!
now reimplemented enough of the game that we can read its *original* resources, simulate world gen, and show you where the best parts are.

ok *now* i think it’s correct. you can tell because of how bloody long value town is. also highlighted bananas in yellow, because we need those for chimps runs.

so if the first thing you do after opening the game is, load a save then click on a building needing world gen (read: start a level), the seed is srand(time(NULL)).
the game only takes like three seconds to start.
are you thinking what i’m thinking?

spent way too long (like over an hour) trying to figure out what’s wrong with my code for converting click coordinates to parts grid coordinates (blue boxes).
can you spot it faster than i did?
